Brenda made it safely and her plane was right on time. Today we went to Corpus Christi and walked through old downtown and along the beach. We saw the USS Lexington, which is a huge aircraft carrier. We wanted to see the museum, but closed Mondays. Yes, we got lost, but did find our way home. Filled up my car gas tank at $1.99/gal....cost $14 to fill.
Today the morning was extremely windy and we were a bit afraid that the top of the MH would blow off as could hear it making strange noises. We took turns climbing to the roof and saw that air was getting in under the top and making the metal billow a bit, but I think it sounded worse than it was. Nothing I could do about it anyway.
We did a walk along the beach and Brenda was really surprised at how fine the sand is here. However, with the wind, it wasn't as warm as it hadbeen before her arrival.
This evening we are going to the Pelican Lounge to do my blog and check emails. Brenda will be guest blogger tomorrow.
