American Thanksgiving

We began the day dancing on the top deck of Dirty Al's. It is a seafood restaurant and the owner is kind enough to allow us to dance on his deck. We have a view of both sides of the island from up there. Today this big tanker was going by so I grabbed my camera and took a couple of shots.

Today a group of us went for a free Thanksgiving dinner at The Coral Reef. It is a lounge here on the island. We had a dinner with all the trimmings and live entertainment. Everyone calls the owner, Ya Ya, because anything you ask him he responds with ya ya. After dinner he accompanied the piano player with his banjo. I wish I hadn't forgotten my camera.

Free food is common here. In some bars at happy hour they put out free appetizers. They all have $2 beer, but the beer here a lot weaker than Canadian beer.

We are having a mosquito problem after last week's rain. Most of us are holed up in our MHs as they attack as soon as your door is open. It's terrible.

A belated Happy American Thanksgiving. Sounds like you have been having a lot of fun. Sure do wish I was down there.
