Arriba's

The other day one of the woman at the park organized a champagne party just for the ladies.  It was a gorgeous day.

Champagne Party
We went around the circle and everyone told something interesting about their life.  The woman in the wheel chair worked for the F.B.I. when she graduated from high school.  She matched fingerprints from a crime scene to those they had on file.  No computers then.  Everyone had something interesting to share.

The women's husbands met at a different RV.  They joined us later and we had a fun evening of dancing.

On Monday the park went to Arriba's in Mexico.  We do that once a month.  We have a few drinks, some lunch and we dance.  It is always a fun time as most people attend.  We took up 3 long tables.

We sure do a lot of dancing.  It is good exercise.

There is just one musician there.  He plays the keyboard and sings.  Merchants come around and sell their wares to the patrons.  It is difficult to say no.  Brenda talked me into buying two bracelets.

Our Musician
Today it is 32C.  A group from our park went to Boca Chica on the Gulf of Mexico.  They invited us to go with them, but it is very hot today.  There are no facilities there of any kind; not even bathrooms.  They loaded up their trucks with coolers and the like.

Brenda and I are going to South Padre Island for winter fest.  We will be gone Wed. and Thurs. so we feel that is enough.  One does have things to do in preparation.

A friend from home told me it is -42C with the windchill.  O.M.G.!  I feel for you!  I really do!
Keep warm if you can.
